Last year, I had a severe toothache (tooth #28). The dentist said the tooth was abscessed and needed a root canal. He put me on antibiotics. When I finished them, the swelling and pain went away so I didn’t go to my root canal appointment. I thought everything was already fine until a month ago, my face on the right side became extremely swollen. The dentist put me on antibiotics for ten days and I had the root canal done after. He filled the tooth after the RCT.
A week after the root canal, the lymph node at the back of my neck got swollen. I also had ear infection. I was given another set of antibiotics. For the past days, I felt that the swelling in my lymph nodes was getting worse and I started feeling worse and very much drained. Any ideas why I am feeling this way? What tests should be done to figure this out? Help me please!
