Incognito is the term for a special orthodontic treatment. On these braces the brackets are not in contact with the tooth outside, but with the toot inside, so the area facing the tongue. You often call them invisible braces! Your aesthetic appearance is not affected with this kind of braces. Invisible braces are suitable for patients who have to talk in front of people regularly and do not want to their braces to show. The disadvantages of the incognito braces are the higher costs; you cannot use this braces with certain dental deformations and the wear comfort in comparison to normal braces is reduced since the mouth area is more limited.
